The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks on Pakistani military forces in Balochistan, alleging that 25 Pakistani military personnel were killed and three military vehicles destroyed.
According to reports, the attacks took place on September 3, 2026, in the Ziarat and Surab areas of Balochistan. The BLA said its fighters ambushed a Pakistani military convoy at Ziarat Cross, where two vehicles—including a military truck—were destroyed. The group initially claimed 18 deaths in the attack.
The BLA also claimed a second attack in the Hajika area of Surab, saying its Special Tactical Operations Squad used a remotely detonated vehicle to target a Pakistani military vehicle, killing seven personnel.
Video Released by BLA
Following the attacks, the BLA released video footage that it said showed the operation.
