Cascais, Portugal – Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo is officially a married man.
The Portuguese superstar, 41, tied the knot with his long-time partner, model Georgina Rodríguez, 32, in a civil ceremony on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 in Cascais, a coastal town near Lisbon, Portugal.
According to a statement from Brunswick Group, the PR team representing Ronaldo, the wedding was described as “a private and intimate moment attended by their five children”.
The couple posted a picture on their Instagram accounts showing their wedding rings after the ceremony.
A Decade of Love
Ronaldo and Rodríguez have been together for almost a decade after meeting in Madrid. Ronaldo first met Rodríguez when she was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store in 2017.
The wedding comes exactly one year after Rodríguez announced their engagement on Instagram on Aug. 11, 2025.
For the engagement, she shared a picture of her hand over Ronaldo’s with her massive oval-shaped diamond ring and wrote in Spanish: “Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas,” which translates to “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives”.
The couple share five children: twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 8, daughter Alana, 8, daughter Bella, 4, and 15-year-old son Cristiano Jr., whom Ronaldo welcomed in a previous relationship.
The intimate wedding in Cascais marks the culmination of a 10-year romance that started in a Gucci store and became one of football’s most followed love stories.
